WHAT COULD I GIVE IF I…

• Become a coupon clipper? Food is one of the largest household expenses each month. Building the discipline to do this can save $10-$20 per week. Ten dollars a week for three years is $1,560.

• Skip one meal a week as a family, devoting the time to prayer? Skipping one meal at an average of $20 per family saves $3,120 over three years.

• Give up a habit? For example, one mocha or latte plus tax each day for three years costs nearly $3,600 – or more!

• Commit my income tax refund check to the Lord for this three-year period?

• Put off a major purchase, like a new car or appliance, and redirect that money to the campaign?

• Adjust my vacations? Do something inexpensive and closer to home like hikes, picnics, or museums. A “staycation” can save $2000-$3000.

• Commit to drink only water at restaurants? An individual who eats out twice each week could save $780 or more over three years.

• Wait for a movie’s video or digital release? One trip to the movies can cost over $30 with snacks for two. If I cut out two movies per month, that’s almost $2,160 over three years.

• Reduce my cable subscription? I could save $20-$40 per month. Eliminating premium channels could save $1,440 over three years.

• Continue a bill payment? If I pay off a car or a student loan, I can continue to “pay the bill” by redirecting that money to the campaign. A $100 payment per month over three years is $3,600.

• Make a dollar-per-week increase? For those concerned about making a large commitment, this will help build faith. Start with $1 the first week, then $2, then $3. Pray for wisdom in where the next dollar will come from. Over three years, I would give over $12,000.
